Molly’s Clothing is a family-owned company providing hip, contemporary fashions for modest-minded women and girls.
Nowadays, women can "cover up" with long tees and so forth. But there's no reason they should have to wear frumpy fashions made of low-quality material to stay modest. We share women's desire for comfortable, high-quality modest wear, and our goal is to create an ever-evolving line of chic modest apparel that is fun, fashionable and affordable.
Molly's Clothing was founded by Jaime Stephens, a designer with 15 years in the fashion industry. Since 1992, Jaime has owned and operated elyseREUBEN, a custom couture business with an emphasis on modest formal apparel. During that time, in between raising her 3 daughters, Jaime has been an active influence in helping women achieve modest independence from today’s immodest pitfalls.
Over the years, Jaime has hosted nonprofit modest fashion shows and participated in events to teach girls how to dress modestly with today's fashions. These tips include teaching girls how to layer for coverage, how to use modest lines to accentuate beauty and even how to easily sew sleeves on sleeveless dresses.
For years, Jaime would design and sew modest fashion solutions for her friends, including variations of the modern "Mini Molly" and "Classic Capsleeve" – layering shirts that keep women comfortable and confident in their favorite clothing. The demand for modest casual wear grew, and when Jaime saw there was a need for truly fashionable, high-quality modest tops, dresses and skirts, she started Molly's Clothing.
Since 2005, Molly's Clothing has grown steadily, releasing fun, practical new fashions, including colorful tops, elegant wash-and-wear dresses and the Molly’s Mini Line for modest solutions. But what has made the experience truly wonderful are the women and girls who seek out modesty. They keep this industry going, and it is for them that we have made providing chic, exclusive modest apparel our daily goal.
